Une grande nouvelle et une page!

Tout d'abord, laissez-moi vous présenter Zoé qui était si pressée de nous rencontrer qu'elle a décidé d'arriver plus de 3 semaines d'avance! C'était toute une surprise... notre valise pour l'hôpital n'était même pas encore faite (j'avais prévu la faire le lendemain).

Tout s'est très bien déroulé et la famille se porte à merveille. Ma grande est vraiment comblée d'enfin avoir sa petite soeur... Elle l'a attendue si longtemps!

First of all, let me introduce you Zoé who was in such a hurry to meet us that she decided to arrive over 3 weeks in advance! What a surprise it was... Our suitcase for the hospital wasn't even packed yet (I was suposed to do it the day after).

Everything went well and all the family is doing very well. My elder daughter is so happy to finally have her little sister... She waited so long for her!

Et maintenant, voici une page terminée le jour précédant mon accouchement. Moi qui était contente d'avoir mes photos de bedaine (prises par AnnieB Studio) plusieurs semaines d'avance pour pouvoir les scrapper... Ce sera la seule page que j'aurai eu le temps de faire avant d'accoucher!

C'est une page qui parle plus de mes sentiments vis-à-vis ma nouvelle trentaine que sur ma grossesse, mais je trouve que la photo dégage exactement comment je me sens.

Now, here is a page I finished the day before my delivery. I was so excited to have my pregnancy photos (taken by AnnieB Studio) several weeks before my due date to scrap them... Finally it is the only page I would have had time to do before my delivery!

It is a page talking more about how I feel about now being thirty than about being pregnant, but I think the photo reflect exactly how I feel.

When I turned 30, everybody asked me how I was feeling, if it was bothering me, what effect it made me...

The truth is that I feel about it exactly the way I felt about having 22, 25 or 27! I feel that I am exactly where I have to be in my life, I experienced what I had to live at the right moment and I feel as much energetic today as I was at 20 but much more wise and experienced.

I accept myself: I'm 30, I'm expecting my second child and I feel full of life! It is wonderful to be 30!

Voici une page que j'ai faite rapidement la fin de semaine dernière à propos du père de mon mari et de l'amour et la complicité qu'il partage avec notre fille et notre nièce. C'est tellement beau à voir!

Here is a page that I made quickly last week end about my husband's father and the love and complicity he shares with our daugther and our niece. This is so great to see!

Vélo 101

Sur cette page, j'ai utilisé du gesso avec un masque. J'ai tartiné bien épais et ensuite j'ai tapoter avec une spatule pour donner un aspect un peu stucco. Ensuite j'ai encré un peu.

Je ne suis pas certaine que j'aime le résultat, mais faut bien essayer de nouvelles choses de temps à autre!

Le journaling est sur une étiquette, cachée dans une pochette.

On this page, I used gesso with a mask. I spread a thick layer that I after patted with a spatula to obtain a stucco effect. Finally, I inked it a bit.

I'm not sure I like the result, but, eh, a girl has to try new things from time to time!

My journaling is on a tag, hidden in a little enveloppe. It says:

"For your 4th birthday, we gave you this bike. You were so excited to finally have a big girl bike, moreover, a princesses bike! However, you were less enthusiastic at the thought of actually ride it... It took a lot of patience and encourragements from us, but you finally mastered the technic at the end of the fall!"
