Bonjour Mesdames!

Voici ma participation au défi "Secret Life of Pets" chez Paper Issues. Le titre est le surnom que nous donnons à notre chat. Ça vient de l'époque où ma plus jeune apprenait le son des animaux; elle disait toujours le nom de l'animal suivi de son cri. Nous avions donc un minou-meow, croisions des moutons-bêêê à la campagne, etc.

Here's my take on the Secret Life of Pets challenge from Paper Issues.The title, which can be translated by "kitty meow", is the nickname we give to our cat. It comes from the time when my youngest daughter was learning the sound of animals; she was always saying the name of the animal followed by its sound. So, we had a kitty-meow and were seing sheeps-baaaa in the country, etc.

Il y a quelques temps, j'ai eu le privilège d'être contactée par l'équipe de la compagnie Spellbinders afin d'essayer leurs produits, ce que j'ai naturellement accepté!

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to be contacted by the Spellbinders team for an opportunity to try their products and, of course, I said yes!

Voici quelques-uns des produits que j'ai reçus:
Here are a couple of the products that I received:

Cet ensemble d'étampes et matrices de coupe assorties est vraiment très bien fait. Il y a juste assez d'espace entre la matrice et l'étampe pour que ce soit facile de faire la découpe sans passer de longues minutes à enligner le tout minutieusement. Et j'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à colorier ces mignons champignons avec mes Prismacolor!

This assorted stamp and die set is really well made. The space between the stamp and the die is just the right size to make the cut easy, without spending long minutes to thoroughly align everything. And I had so much fun to color these cute mushrooms with my Primacolor pencils!

La réputation des Nestabilities n'est plus à faire! Fidèle à la gamme, cet ensemble coupe très bien et comporte de jolis détails. J'aime particulièrement avoir l'option de garder la forme pleine en utilisant seulement la grande matrice ou de créer un cadre (et un deuxième carré en même temps!) en combinant avec la matrice mince assortie.

The Nestabilities reputation is well established! True to the range, this set cuts perfectly and has really nice details. I especially like that you have the option to keep the shape full by using only the large die or to make a frame (and get a second square shape at the same time!) by combining it with the thin assorted die.

Bonjour Mesdames!

Voici mon projet libre de septembre pour Lime Citron. Je l'ai affectueusement surnommé "The Never Ending Layout" car il m'a semblé que je n'en viendrais jamais à bout hihihi J'avais ce concept général en tête depuis la première année du primaire de ma grande, de la photographier devant son école à chaque jour de rentrée scolaire pour la voir grandir, en quelque sorte. Alors donc, 6 ans pour avoir toutes les photos et après, et bien, disons que 6 photos, c'est assez loin de ma zone de confort! Un beau défi!

Here's my free September project for Lime Citron. I lovingly dub it "The Never Ending Layout" as it kind of made me feel like I would never finish it LOL I had this concept in mind since the first year of elementary school of my eldest daughter, to take a picture of her in front of the school on the first day of every school year, to kind of see her grow up. So, to start with, it took me 6 years to get all the pictures and then, well, let's say that 6 pictures is a tad out of my comfort zone! A nice challenge, really!
