Voici ma participation au cas #32 sur CSI.
Here is how I solved case #32 at CSI.

Evidences: Stars, translucent item (dew drops),  something grainy (glass beads on my alpha), textured paper (corrugated and crumpled paper), vellum (tag), dots (dew drops) and gauze.

Testimony: Beach trip (this picture of my sister in law has been taken on our last winter trip to Mexico) .

Pour mon titre, j'ai utilisé un alphabet en carton agloméré que j'ai coloré en brun et sur lequel j'ai ensuite collé des perles avec du glossy accent.
For my title, I used a plain chipboard alpha that I colored in brown and then added some beads on it with glossy accent.

Grande rencontre

Voici ma participation pour le croquis en cours sur Sketches With A Twist.
Here is my take on the current sketch at Sketches With A Twist.

Sur cette page, j'ai expérimenté de la pâte à texturer à laquelle j'ai mélangé du sable et de l'encre jaune que j'ai ensuite appliqué avec mon pochoir de briques. Une fois le mélange séché, on voyait encore le gris du sable, alors j'ai peint le tout avec de la peinture acrylique. J'adore la relief que ça donne!

On this page, I experimented texture paste that I mixed with sand and yellow ink and then applied it with my brick stencil. Once it has dried, the gray of the sand was still popping out so I painted it with acrylic paint. I just love this relief!

I love this picture taken when Ophélie and you first met the day following your birth. Her face is shining from the total happiness of finally hold you in her arms and you, you are looking up at her with a kind of adminrative look.

5 ans! (CSI #29)

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente la page que j'ai faite pour le cas 29 de CSI. Des que je l'ai vue, j'ai été prise d'une envie folle de participer mais comme je passais la semaine chez ma mere, donc loin de mon matériel de scrap, j'étais loin d'etre certaine de pouvoir y arriver. Alors, en rentrant chez moi le dimanche, j'ai ignoré la maginifique température qu'il faisait a l'extérieur et j'ai pondu cette page! C'est assez inhabituel pour moi de faire une page complete en seulement 1 jour: je mets normalement 2-3 jours pour faire une page. Je dois avouer que le magnifique kit a imprimer coordonné au "casefile" m'a aider a accomplir cet exploit ;-)

Today, I show you the page I created to participate in investigation #29 at CSI. As soon as I saw this case, I felt the need to participate but as I was away at my mom's house for the week, away from my scrap stuff, I wasn't sure I'd be able to take part in the challenge. So when I got back home on Sunday, I ignored the beautiful weather outside and done this page. This is pretty unusual for me to make a page in one day: it usualy takes me 2-3 days. I have to admit that the case printable coordinates helped me a lot in this accomplishment ;-)

Mon doux! Faire cette page m'a presque coûté ma santé mentale! lol Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais j'ai eu un mal fou à scrapper cette photo... J'ai jeté 2 autres essais avant de finir par garder celle-ci. Je ne suis pas certaine que je l'aime, mais au moins je ne la déteste pas!

My gosh! Doing this page almost cost me my sanity! lol For some reason, it's been very difficult for me to scrap this photo... I trashed 2 other takes before to finally keep this one. I'm not sure I like it, but at least I don't hate it!

J'ai fait les volutes avec mon nouveau produit préféré: le Liquid Pearl! Pour la boucle autour de la taille du mannequin, j'ai récupéré des fils d'une serviette de plage qui s'est effilochée au lavage et le gros ruban rose transparent a été rescapé d'un emballage cadeau. Scrap-récupération!

I made the swirls with my new fetish product: the Liquid Pearl! The bow around the mannequin waist is made with piece of thread that comes from a unraveled beach towel and the transparent pink ribbon has been rescued from a gift wrap. Scrap-Recycling!

For the 2011-2012 season, you choose to take dance lessons. Although you liked the experience, at the end of the year you declared that you didn't need lessons to know how to dance and that you wanted to start again gymnastic classes next year.

Journaling:
At the peak of your Princesses and Super Heros stage, around 3 1/2 - 4 years, you gave every member of the family a royal name.

J'ai bien sûr utilisé toutes les couleurs et les "preuves" suivantes du cas: métal (courrone, oiseau, attaches parisiennes et oeillets... 76 en tout, installés avec mon Silent Setter... J'ai encore mal au bras!!!), fleurs, fleur-de-lys, glacage (j'ai utilisé du liquid pearl pour faire mes volutes), quelque chose de translucide (ruban).

Au niveau du "témoignage": j'ai entouré mon journaling de "scallops" et je parle de notre famille royale selon ma fille.

Of course, I used every colors and the following evidences: metal (crown, bird, brads and eyelets... there are 76, put with my Silent Setter... My arm is still hurting!!!), flowers, fleur-de-lys, icing (I used Liquid Pearl to draw my swirls), something translcent (the ribbon).

For the testimony: My journaling is on scallops and I talk about our royal family according to my daughter.

En terminant, je tiens à mentionner à quel point j'aime participer à ces défis! Ça fait vraiment ressortir le meilleur de ma créativité.

In closing, I want to say how much I love to take part in these challenges! It really brings the best of my creativity out of me.
